#1. Are We Really The Site You Want To Contact?

We know it sounds silly, but a staggering 95% of the emails we receive are intended for other websites – namely, clients of the policy generator, not us.

These users end up on our site by following a link in our clients’ privacy policies. Unfortunately, we can’t answer questions about other websites – no matter how nicely you ask, or how much you swear. Sorry!

#2. Have You Checked Our FAQ?

We’ve lovingly constructed a huge FAQ that answers 99% of questions about our privacy policies. Please take a moment to check the FAQ to see if we’ve already answered your question there.

#3. Not received your login or password?

Our most common genuine problem is this: a user creates a privacy policy, but hasn’t received a confirmation email with their login. Before getting in touch, please:

#1. Check your spam folder. Some email providers are overzealous in spam filtering, and the odd email ends up there.

#2. Check the email address that you signed up with. Many users make typos in their own email addresses. If there’s a typo in your email address, we won’t be able to email you anything. You’ll need to create a new policy.

#3. Sometimes our email provider, PostMark, has a backlog & take a few minutes extra to deliver email. This is perfectly normal. Please allow an hour before contacting us.
